Victoria United talent Jude Enow is already dreaming of making his CAF Champions League bow when the reigning MTN Elite One champions host FC Samartez 1996 in the first leg of their CAF Champions League preliminary round.

The 16-year-old enjoyed plenty of exposure to the first team last term in his MTN Elite One Championship debut campaign.

” I am looking forward to Saturday, of course, it will be a huge game for me. It’s a bit of a dream come true,” said Enow.

The former Best Stars Academy product can play either as a winger or No.10. has the attributes to be a success at the highest level.

Enow has put in a number of eye-catching displays this pre-season and giving Opopo’s success in acquiring young talents and polishing them into diamonds, there is a growing feeling he can bring an extra dimension to coach David Nganbe’s team this campaign.

” My objective is to keep working hard, day by day, and see how far my efforts can take,’ added Enow.

The coach has been happy with Enow’s impact in the team, praising the player’s versatility, inventiveness and industry.

Fans are happy to see the club putting faith in youth.

” Enow is one of several great young lads to see at our club,” a fan stated.

President Nkwain Valentine’s squad is short of Champions League experience, but the business tycoon said they have the belief that they can mix it with Africa’s best.

” It’s true we don’t have the experience, that’s the reality, but we are really excited to face it, and go for it with full belief,’ Nkwain stated.

Opopo will face FC Samartez In the 2024/2025 CAF Champions League preliminary round on Sunday 18 August at the Japoma Stadium in Douala.
