
Players and officials of Victoria United FC have arrived Douala ahead of Sunday’s highly anticipated CAF Champions preliminary round match against FC Samartex 1996.
The team arrived Douala on Saturday, August 17, to engage in pre-match rituals before the penultimate encounter on Sunday.
Opopo booked their place in the CAF Champions League preliminary rounds after clinching the MTN Elite One title.
The match which kicks off at 3pm at the Japoma stadium, with Opopo using the venue as their home ground for this encounter.
The CAF Champions League is the pinnacle of African club football and Opopo’s participation is a testament to their growing reputation.
